Well few but steadfast viewers, I must apologize for my site’s cute vanishing act last month. Sadly the few dollars it costs to keep up the hosting was a bit too much for our beleaguered credit card and our host didn’t want to wait a few weeks.
So we are back, I pray for a good amount of time. Will it be the same as before? Well, no, not really.
Social media websites, such as Facebook and Twitter, have changed my online habits and that has meant less time to focus on a blog. Social media sites sit there and you can just quib a quick reply to someone or insert a quick link. A blog requires much more thought and intentionality. Frankly a blog is more of an accepted media option and thus bears more weight - ie. watch out people are watching, reading and listening, so be careful what you write. AND that requires much more thought and credibility in what is said.
Is the blog dead? No, by no means. I will continue to get my bulletins up and some interesting pictures (often placed in my flickr feed). My sermons will go up as before but I warn you gentle reader that my time is limited to do online “stuff” and so don’t be surprised if my sermon from Sunday doesn’t show up for 6 days … but I will try.

So I’ve had this website for over 4 years and there are time when it has become pretty stale. I’ve made the facebook excuse before but its sadly true. It is just so easy to jot things down on facebook. So at some point I will be starting a WWPA Facebook page.
BUT here on the WWPA site I need some direction. So if you look up or down as the case may be, you will see a thing called comments. Please use that to help me find out what you would like from me in this site. Sermons and bulletins will continue, but do you desire anything else? Use COMMENTS and don’t be shy, no one has a database of your email address or any personal inforation and I don’t collect it.
